Even Cosmo has to join Stuart in his man cave. Cosmo is so gentle, but also a pest.  He has to get in the middle of everything...even a basket of clothes is too much for him to ignore.  But poor, poor Stuart. He does not look like he is having any fun with that big presence in his "boy cave."

Gordon is our "in your pocket" Blue eared pheasant. He is such a hoot. He tags along with us, sits in our laps, jumps up on my computer and printer, eats from cereal bowls with me, and is overall one amazing Super Bird!

Gordon looks forward to his mornings hanging out with us in the house. He LOVES to play with his toys, torn paper pieces, and has recently learned to give kisses.  He continually calls for us when we leave the room. What an amazing pheasant. He acts more like a cockatoo in terms of wanting to be with his humans than a standoffish pheasant.

Poor Tilly caught her neck in some chicken wire that was buried under the aviary and on the outside of it. Apparently she, or one of the pheasants, dug a hole big enough for her to put her head and neck through. We are not sure how long she remained like that because it happened sometime during the night. UPDATE: She is in perfect physical health now and doing very well.

Spirit is a very special pet pigeon that has lived her entire life inside as a house pet. She is very comfortable with all our dogs which include a pitbull, boxer mix, and two Chihuahuas. One of them is our two year old blind Chihuahua Stuart. Obviously, Spirit is quite at home visiting Stuart inside his little "boy cave."
